Resin body. Specially cast metal chassis that accepts trucks and drive gear from Athearn PA1/PB1 locomotive (previously but no longer supplied).

"The construction set includes a cast resin hood, vacuum shaped windows, white metal parts, brass flywheels. ... also contains PCBs, LEDs and resistors for the changing front lighting.... You need to purchase separately paint, transfers, Sommerfeldt pantographs (no.927), Mashima 18x33 motor [or equivalent], and handrail holders."
