Preston Tramcar

This exclusive Models of Yesteryear Limited Edition framed cabinet is of the W.H. Type Electric Tramcar first built in 1910 by the Electric Car Company of Preston, Lancashire. This "W.H." designation is mythical. These trams were not designated using a two-letter code. As the type designation is mythical, there can't be a year when it was first built.

The writer means the "United Electric Car Company", which was one of the components of the complicatedly organised Dick, Kerr company.
It is a typical four wheel single-truck electric tram with the classic Open Balcony design of this early period. The writer is probably right that the open balcony design was produced at Preston from about 1910, although invariably with four-bay decks rather than the three-bay decks depicted on the model.
Many of these PRESTON tram cars were modified in the early 1920's and continued in service until the end of tramway operations in 1951. SCALE 1:87. The writer means the end of tramway operations in London (actually 1952). First-generation tramways operated in other UK cities beyond then.
